Before Mike can speak intelligently about the services that might be appropriate for you and your family, he needs to get to know you. And, before you can feel comfortable sharing your goals and dreams, you need to get to know him.
After moving to Colorado and finding his way to middle management in the telecommunications industry, Mike knew he wanted to control his own professional destiny and live in Colorado.
He shared his desires with his existing Northwestern Mutual Representative during a review meeting of his personal plan.
Mike was careful in selecting Northwestern Mutual for his family's planning needs and diligent in assessing a career with Northwestern Mutual.

Mike is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals. Founded in 1927, MDRT provides its members with resources to improve their technical knowledge, sales and client service while maintaining a culture of high ethical standards.

Certified Financial Planner™- The Certified Financial Planner™(CFP®) certification is one of the most recognized financial planning marks in the world. CFP® certification identifies to the public those individuals who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The CFP® certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.

Chartered Life Underwriter- The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential for life insurance professionals. Since 1927, more than 94,000 individuals have earned their CLU, helping them build a successful life insurance practice by providing clients with knowledgeable and ethical advice. For financial representatives, field management, home office personnel, and others involved in providing life insurance products to the public, the CLU designation symbolizes continuing growth and commitment to professionalism.

Chartered Financial Consultant®- The Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) program prepares representatives to meet the advanced financial planning needs of individuals, professionals and small business owners. The designaion provides in-depth coverage of the key financial planning disciplines, including insurance, income taxation, retirement planning, investments and estate planning.

Kirk’s relationship with Northwestern Mutual began in 2005 as a client. The first meeting he had with his financial representative changed his career path and brought a calling for a greater cause. The impression and impact his representative made on him and his wife Jennifer gave Kirk a new focus: he wanted to help others the same way his Northwestern Mutual representative had helped him and his wife. Kirk joined Northwestern Mutual in 2007 as a financial representative and after reflecting on his new career path with his family, discovered that he is a fourth generation Northwestern Mutual client. The ability to help others protect their families for generations to come is what guides Kirk to this day.
Kirk’s practice is built around identifying client’s goals, creating a blueprint to meet those goals and continuing to follow through to “deliver on his promise”.
He graduated from the University of Denver Daniels College of business in 2004 with a Master in Business Administration and Master of Science in Information Technology.
Kirk has been happily married to his wife Jennifer since 2000. They have two children, Mia and Crosby. When not working or spending time with his family, you can find Kirk on the golf course.
